Cool gadgets for men, part 1

Whether you're looking for some cool gadgets to buy for yourself or a friend of yours, or if you're just shopping for a present for your male side (take that as it applies to you), below are some cool gadgets for all the techdonks out there, call it a list of things I personally wouldn't mind having.

Keychain Alcohol Detector
I assume you have a driving licence, you do, right? And if you like going out a lot, and drink quite a bit at the same time as well, it might not often be a good idea to go driving in the morning. But often you haven't got a clue whether you actually should be driving in the being-sober-sense or not. And even if you have an alcohol detector, experience has shown that we tend to forget it everywhere. That's where the keychane alcohol detector comes in - if you want to go driving, you definitely have your car keys with you. And as long as you have your car keys, you have your alcohol detector.

Apple iPad
When iPad first came out I thought to myself - yet another useless piece of crap you probably wouldn't ever need if apple hadn't come out with it. Well, within the past year I have changed my mind. Whenever I travel, I usually carry my laptop with me so I could check email or do whatever else I need during my trips. But if you can replace your laptop, independent of the size, with iPad the add-on weight to for your carry-on electronic equipment is reduced and that makes an iPad (or a similar product by any other company) kind of a necessary gadget from where I sit. And in some cases you could also use one accessory for iPad - iPad Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard - for times when you need to get some actual work done.

GPS Navigation Sports watch
Independent of what some might say, all men are interested in being in shape. While no accessory helps you do that, they can give you some knowledge on how you're doing and help you on the way to great shape along the way. Some GPS navigation sport watches can help you navigate during your jogging as well as calculate the calories you have burnt and measure your heart rate in real time.

According to a well-known myth (is it really just a myth? Hmm) most men are just big children. Well, most of us are. So why not give ourselves a chance to play like children as well. Xperia Play has at least 50 games including Guitar Hero and FIFA.

The Beer Machine
Getting back to the main things in life - one of the coolest gadgets a man could own is a beer machine. All men love beer and those who don't simply have drank too much of it during the last 10 years or have simply not discovered it yet. The beer machine is a home brew system that allows you to make beer with one step simple process. The beer machine can make you any type of beer, from lager to bitter to stout. Yes, as brewing beer takes some time, you can't make beer in a matter of minutes, the process takes 7 to 10 days to complete, but once it's ready, it's your own beer that costs you just pennies.

The best thing ever...
...that doesn't exist yet, or that isn't available for general public yet. In my mind it would be a gadget with about the size of a phone that would represent a new type of laptop. No, don't get me wrong, I'm not talking about a smart phone. I'm talking about a gadget that would display hologram display as well as hologram keyboard. That's what I would call a REAL gadget.
