New gaming technologies introduced at G2E
During this year's Global Gaming Expo a number of new games and consoles, innovations, new technologies were introduced by the more than four and a half hundred exhibitors. What else could you expect from one of the world's largest as well as one of the most important gaming trade shows in the world.
Among the hundreds of exhibitors was also the gaming technology giant International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT) introducing new things from their company. IGT is listed on the S&PO 500 list, has an annual revenue of almost $2 bullion and is the company that manufactures roughly half of the slot machines in the U.S. With offices all over the world, the Nevada based company specializes in offering full solutions to their customers, from the very design and concepts to development, manufacturing as well as sales and distribution of gaming machines as well as network systems.
During G2E they introduced their DoubleDown Casino Partner Program that has produced measurable results to casino operators. They also introduced Tournament Manager 3.0 which is the first gaming technology that gives operators the ability to facilitate automated Video Poker tournaments any time on any IGT AVP® terminal. Using this technology, in partnership with Casino Del Sol, earlier this year also the world's largest video poker tournament was held with more than 360 000 players qualifying online.
