Nokia brings back the old classic 3310, but why not 5110?
Nokia has announced that they will be bringing back a slightly reimagined (well, more colorful) version of Nokia 3310, the phone that many considered the best 20 years ago, or okay, around 2000s.
In addition to having colors (if I remember correctly, the original version didn't, it was just black text on yellowish background), it now also has slightly bigger screen. But what Nokia phones are remembered by is their battery and strength. The phone has 22 hours of talktime and up to a month of battery time.
Of course, bringing back to old times also means you will be lacking a number of functions like good internet access, good camera, and so on. Although you can connect to internet through 2.5G connection and also have a 2mb camera now. Other things that are new for this 3310 is a headphone jack, SD card slot, and FM radio.
The price tag for the phone? It will be 49 euros.
But, as a former Nokia phone owner myself, I'm actually sad that they chose to bring back 3310. I was a proud owner of Nokia 5110, and I've been waiting for a long time for them to bring that back.
